Angel Aid provides relief to individuals and families affected by Hunter syndrome, a type II MPS disorder, and creates fundraisers to benefit the National MPS Society and BioMarin Pharmaceuticals.

Hunter syndrome and Huntington's disease are both hereditary diseases characterized by enzyme deficiencies, which result in early-onset type (severe form) shortly after age 2 that causes a large skull, coarse facial features, profound mental retardation, spasticity, aggressive behavior, joint stiffness and death before age 20.
